How I Work With You
Feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, and grief can occur with a wide variety of major life changes or losses. These may include, but are not limited to:
relationships changes
career and school stresses
new living circumstances
cultural adjustment
Uncertainty and the pain of loss can bring about symptoms of anxiety or depression and are also often a focus of my work with clients.
Whether in individual counselling sessions or in group counselling, I will listen closely to your story and help you to process your feelings fully. I will work with you to find ways to honour what has been lost and discover ways to move forward. With respect, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and often humour, I use techniques from a variety of modalities to highlight emotions, and shift thought and behaviour patterns.
